The Official Visit of 1^st VDG Lion CA Abraham Panjikaran and Lion Juju Abraham to our club was on November 18^th Friday, at the residence of Lion Moly Sabu, the Charter President at Malippuram.  We had a special meeting of PST, Cabinet and Board members with the VDG at 7 pm and General Body meeting thereafter at 7.30 pm.  Many of our members with their family and visiting Club Officials were present for the meeting.  VDG Lion CA Abraham Panijakran in his address appreciated our activities so far and stressed the need for strengthening our membership.  PMCC Lion Kurien John inaugurated the service projects by handing over the club contribution of Rs.25,000/- for supporting the heart surgery of a poor man Mr Ciraj C A from Moothakunnom.  PDG Lion Sabu Krikkassery released our News Letter.  DCC Lion Thomas Jacob, Zone chairperson Lion Saju Peter, ADCS Lion L R R Warrier felicitated on the occasion.  Lion Moly Sabu and PDG Lion Sabu Karikkassery put in great efforts in arranging and hosting the meeting at their residence in a very beautiful manner

Zone Chairperson Lion Saju Peter honor Cochin Beautiful City for the excellent activities.

On 29^th November, the first Zone Meeting of Zone II Region VIII was held at Lions Hall, Thrikkakara hosted by the Zone Clubs.  Club Officers of Cochin Beautiful City along with other members participated in the Zone Advisory Meeting and Zone Meeting.   Zone Chairperson Lion Saju Peter honored Lions Club of Cochin Beautiful City for the excellent activities undertaken so far.  Zone Chairperson Lion Saju Peter took every efforts in making the Zone Advisory meaningful and the Zone Meeting memorable.     

Childrens Day Celebrations

Cochin Beautiful City celebrated Childrens Day on November 14th visiting and spending time with the children of Vasalyabhavan, Ponnurunnni.  The President Lion Rani Roy and Lion Dr Maya Gopinath and other members visited the home on 14th and distributed sweets to the children.  The Club sponsored one year subscription of Childrens Digest in Malayalam and Childrens Book 'Tell Me Why' in English as Childrens Day gift to the inamtes of Valsalyabhavan.  These books are useful for the children in their studies and instill in them reading habits.
